EAGLE SPECIALTY PRODUCTS
Eagle Forged 4340 LS Long Snout Crankshaft - 4.000" Stroke - 58X Reluctor
Overview
The Eagle Forged 4340 LS Long Snout Crankshaft is designed for serious LS engine builds that demand exceptional strength, durability, and reliability. Manufactured from premium 4340 forged steel, this crankshaft utilizes Eagle's non-twist forging process and features large .125" fillet radii, nitrided journals, and micropolished surfaces for maximum durability in high-performance naturally aspirated, nitrous, and forced induction applications.
Featuring a 4.000-inch stroke, 58-tooth reluctor wheel, and LS7-style long snout configuration, this crankshaft is ideal for popular 408, 416, and 427 LS combinations utilizing a dry-sump oiling system. The long snout design provides compatibility with LS7-style drive systems while delivering the strength needed for high-horsepower street and race applications.
Eagle's forged 4340 crankshafts are intended for the most demanding engine combinations. The nitrided surface treatment improves journal wear resistance, while the micropolished finish helps reduce friction and improve bearing life. Every crankshaft is supplied with a pre-installed 58X reluctor wheel and is designed for internal balancing.
This crankshaft must be balanced to match your specific piston and connecting rod combination before final engine assembly.
