Feal Coilovers 05-14 Mustang S197

Upgrade the suspension of your 2005-2014 Ford Mustang S197 with a Feal Suspension Coilover System. Developed using experience from top-level international motorsports and years of tuning performance dampers, Feal Coilovers deliver the control, adjustability, and confidence needed for spirited street driving, drifting, road racing, and drag racing.

Standard configurations provide approximately 1-2 inches of lowering capability. Default spring rates for the 441 and 441+ configurations are 8k front / 6k rear, while the 441 / 441+ Drift Spec uses 12k front / 6k rear spring rates.

Multiple damping configurations and driving-specific setups are available, allowing you to tailor the suspension to your Mustang's intended use and desired level of adjustability.

Default Spring Rates:

  • 441 / 441+: 8k Front / 6k Rear
  • 441 / 441+ Drift Spec: 12k Front / 6k Rear
  • Standard Lowering Capability: Approximately 1-2"

Damping Adjustability Options:

441 - 1-Way Adjustable
Rebound and compression damping are adjusted together through a single adjustment knob. This provides a simple and effective way to tune overall vehicle firmness while controlling chassis dive and body roll.

441.5 - 1-Way Front / 2-Way Rear
Combines 1-way adjustable front dampers with 2-way adjustable rear dampers featuring remote reservoirs. This configuration offers an excellent balance of performance and value for drifting and drag racing applications.

Independent rear compression adjustment allows you to fine-tune traction for changing track conditions and adjust characteristics such as forward bite, side bite, squat, and bottoming resistance.

442 - 2-Way Adjustable
Features 2-way adjustable front and rear dampers with remote reservoirs. Rebound and compression are independently adjustable, allowing precise control over chassis roll, weight-transfer rate, traction, and suspension movement during the compression stroke. Rebound adjustments do not alter compression force, allowing each characteristic to be tuned independently.

443 - 3-Way Adjustable
Features 3-way adjustable front and rear dampers with remote reservoirs. Independent adjustments are provided for rebound, low-speed compression, and high-speed compression, providing maximum suspension tuning capability for demanding competition applications.

Low-speed compression adjustment allows you to fine-tune chassis movement caused by throttle, braking, weight transfer, and smoother bumps. High-speed compression adjustment provides additional control over bottoming resistance and wheel movement when encountering rumble strips, sharp impacts, and square-edge bumps.

Available Driving Setups:

Balance of Comfort and Performance
Provides an excellent overall balance between firmness, handling, and ride quality for spirited street driving, occasional track days, and performance-oriented daily use.

GT Comfort
Formerly known as Max Travel, this comfort-oriented configuration is slightly firmer than the OEM suspension for improved stability while providing increased shock and spring stroke for superior compliance. GT Comfort allows for approximately 1" of lowering or up to 1" of lift.

Road Racing with Street Tires
Uses firmer shock valving and spring rates for improved chassis control on road courses when utilizing street-oriented tires with a 200 UTQG or higher rating.

Road Racing with Racing Slicks
Uses substantially firmer shock valving and spring rates for maximum chassis control when running racing slicks or competition tires rated below 200 UTQG.

Drag Racing
Optimized shock valving and spring rates provide greater control over front-to-rear weight transfer to help maximize straight-line traction and launch performance.
