Overview

The Fore Innovations LX L4 Triple Pump Return Fuel System is designed for high-horsepower Chrysler LX-platform vehicles that have outgrown the limits of the factory fuel system. Featuring a return-style layout and triple-pump fuel module, this system is capable of supporting 1200+ rear-wheel horsepower when properly configured.

This system retains important factory functions including fuel level senders, transfer operation, and EVAP functionality while upgrading the vehicle with larger feed and return lines, billet HEMI fuel rails, high-capacity filtration, a 2-into-1 Y-block, check valve, and a boost-referenced Fore F2i fuel pressure regulator.

Designed for serious street, strip, boosted, and E85-capable applications, the LX L4 system provides the fuel volume and pressure control needed to support demanding horsepower goals while maintaining consistent fuel delivery under load.

Fuel Compatibility

  • Gasoline / Race Gas: For gasoline and race fuel applications with less than 15% ethanol content.
  • Ethanol Compatible: For E85 and ethanol-blended fuel applications when paired with compatible fuel pumps and proper filtration.

Level Sender Selection

Proper level sender selection is critical for correct fuel gauge operation. Please visually inspect your factory level sender before ordering.

  • Type 1: Factory style used on most 2005-mid 2011 vehicles. This sender is no longer manufactured. Vehicles that received a replacement OE fuel pump after 2011 may have been updated to Type 2.
  • Type 2: Factory style used on some 2011 vehicles, most 2012-2019 5.7L applications, and most 2012-2021 6.1L / 6.4L applications.
  • Type 3: Factory style used on most 2020-2023 5.7L applications and 2022-2023 6.4L applications. Type 3 uses a different fuel tank and pump design and does not share components with Type 1 or Type 2 systems.

Important: 2011 is a transition year. Vehicles may have Type 1 or Type 2 level senders from the factory. Visual inspection is strongly recommended before ordering.

Fuel Pump Options

This system can be configured with multiple pump combinations to match your horsepower goals, fuel type, and wiring strategy. Pump options may include Walbro GSS342, Walbro GSS352, and TI Automotive F90000267, F90000274, F90000285, and F90000295 fuel pumps.

For E85 applications, choose ethanol-compatible pumps along with Microglass SSD or Stainless Steel filtration.

Important Notes

  • Does not fit Hellcat applications.
  • This is a standalone fuel system.
  • Professional installation is strongly recommended.
  • Custom tuning is required.
  • Installer must be able to properly interface with the OE harness and FPDM system.
  • Aftermarket level senders and level senders supplied with aftermarket pump assemblies are not compatible with Fore Innovations pump modules.
  • E85 compatibility requires compatible fuel pumps and Microglass SSD or Stainless Steel filtration.
  • High-output fuel systems generate substantially more heat than the factory fuel system.
  • Maintain a higher fuel level than normal to help reduce fuel temperature, prevent heat-related damage, and ensure adequate fuel pickup.
  • Final horsepower capacity depends on pump selection, fuel type, wiring, fuel pressure, injector sizing, and overall vehicle combination.
