The Haltech Nexus R5 is the ultimate all-in-one engine control solution, combining the advanced functionality of a Power Distribution Module, Data Logger, Dual-Channel Wideband Controller, and a cutting-edge Engine Management System into a single, innovative Vehicle Control Unit (VCU). This package includes the Nexus R5 and a terminated harness tailored for LSx engines with Drive-By-Wire (DBW), enabling plug-and-play installation with OEM ignition sub-harnesses.

• 4 x 25A (continuous) push-pull PWM outputs: Ideal for powering injectors, coils, transbrake, thermofan, and fuel pump (5 kHz capability)
• 12 x 8A (continuous) high-side outputs: Low speed PWM (200 Hz), perfect for sensors, nitrous solenoids, etc.
• 18 x Peak/Hold Injector Drivers: Can also function as low-side outputs
• 12 x Low-Current Ignition Outputs: Usable as low-side drive outputs
• 8 x Low-Side Drive Outputs: PWM-capable DPOs
• 4 x Push-Pull / H-Bridge Outputs: 8A, PWM-capable, suitable for electronic throttle control
• 23 x 0–5V Analog Inputs: Includes redundancy for DBW and switchable 5V pullup
• Advanced Input Support: Trigger and home inputs with differential inputs, adjustable thresholds, and glitch filters
• 10 x Synchronous Pulsed Inputs: Supports zero-crossing or adjustable thresholds—cam sensor inputs, frequency sensors, or analog inputs
• 2 x Onboard Wideband Controllers: Compatible with NTK and LSU4.9 sensors
• 3 x CAN Ports: Each with switchable termination for easy integration

Included Terminated LSx Harness

The included harness is fully terminated and suited for LSx engines equipped with Drive-By-Wire. It is designed to work plug-and-play with the OEM ignition sub-harness on the engine and includes Power Distribution Module (PDM) functionality.
