Improved Racing 12-15 Camaro & 12-13 Corvette Factory Oil Cooler Delete Kit

The factory oil cooler on some 5th generation V8 Camaros (2012–2015) and C6 Corvettes (2012–2013) uses engine coolant to regulate oil temperature. Unfortunately, this water-to-oil setup can fall short during track days or spirited driving, leading to elevated oil temperatures.

Improved Racing offers a comprehensive solution by de-coupling the oil cooling system from the engine's coolant circuit—allowing for an upgrade to a more efficient air-to-oil cooler. Alternatively, the system can be simplified entirely for vehicles that do not require oil cooling or are undergoing engine swaps.

Kit Options

Air-to-Oil Upgrade Kit: Includes everything required to block off coolant lines and prepare for an external air-to-oil setup (oil cooler, lines, and adapter sold separately).
Cooler Delete Kit: Designed to eliminate oil cooling entirely, includes a bypass plate for the oil pan (multiple configurations available). Not recommended for performance applications.
Full Delete Kit: Combines both kits for complete removal of the factory oil cooling system.

- 1 x Worm-Drive Clamp
- 1 x PLM-M28 - M28 x 1.25 mm Coolant Plug (better than OEM #11611351 & 12561663)
Cooler Delete Kit Includes:
- 1 x LS Pan Oil Bypass Cover (choose blank, with sensor ports, or with sensor ports plus -8 ORB port)
- 1 x LS Pan Oil Bypass Cover Gasket
- 2 x Flanged Mounting Screws
