J&L Oil Separator 3.0 Passenger Side - Black Anod, 15-23 Hellcat, 18-21 Trackhawk, 18 Demon

The J&L 3.0 Oil Separator is engineered to enhance the performance and longevity of your engine by preventing oil vapors from re-entering the intake system. Designed specifically for the 2015-2023 Hellcat, 2018-2021 Trackhawk, and 2018 Demon, this oil separator is a must-have for high-performance vehicles, especially those with forced induction.

Key Features

  • Capacity: 3 oz oil collection capacity
  • Construction: Solid billet aluminum for durability
  • Connections: OEM-style quick connect PCV fittings for easy installation
  • Warranty: Limited Lifetime Warranty for peace of mind

How Does It Work?

During engine operation, crankcase pressure vents back through the intake, carrying oil vapors that can accumulate in the intake manifold, intake tube, and runners. This can dilute fuel, lower octane levels, and reduce overall engine performance—especially in supercharged and turbocharged engines with increased crankcase pressure.

The J&L 3.0 Oil Separator is designed to eliminate these issues by filtering out oil vapors before they enter the intake. A fine mesh stainless steel filter captures fine oil particles and releases them once heavy enough to fall into the reservoir. This ensures cleaner airflow into the engine, enhancing performance and reducing carbon buildup.

Performance & Maintenance

The tank holds 3 oz of fluid, which is typically sufficient for extended driving intervals. It is recommended to check the separator after 1,000 miles, though most applications allow for 2,500-3,500 miles before requiring drainage. The knurled base allows for easy removal, and the O-ring seal ensures a leak-free design.
