How Does It Work?

During engine operation, crankcase pressure vents back through the intake, carrying oil vapors that can accumulate in the intake manifold, intake tube, and runners. This can dilute fuel, lower octane levels, and reduce overall engine performance—especially in supercharged and turbocharged engines with increased crankcase pressure.

The J&L 3.0 Oil Separator is designed to eliminate these issues by filtering out oil vapors before they enter the intake. A fine mesh stainless steel filter captures fine oil particles and releases them once heavy enough to fall into the reservoir.
