Melling M29517 Oil Pump Pickup Tube O-ring Kit Fits 1997-2013 LS-Based V8 Engines 4.8L 5.3L 5.7L 6.0L 6.2L One of the most common causes of low oil pressure on high mileage or aged LS engines is the oil pickup tube O-ring at the oil pump inlet. These O-rings harden with age and heat, eventually allowing the oil pump to pull air in past the seal. This kit from Melling includes both styles/thicknesses of O-rings used on the LS engines as well as instructions to identify which seal you need to use, eliminating the need to identify or guess which O-ring you have before ordering. Fits 1997-2013 LS-based engines (up to 2018 on L96 engines). Does not fit LS7 or dry sump LS3 engines used in Grand Sport Corvettes. Fits ALL other LS-based car, truck and SUV engines
