Motive Gear OE Gear Sets are factory replacement gears for your vehicle. These will use the same material as the OE gears that you are replacing, and they are intended for quiet operation. They do use a harder material than the Motive Gear Performance gear sets, so they will not accommodate as high of a torque rating as the Performance gear sets will. If you are going to be launching on a sticky tire at the drag strip, the Performance gears will be a better choice for you. If you are looking for a gear set that can go 100,000 miles, then the OE gears are the right choice!
