Performance Design Carbon pTR Intake Manifold LT1/L83/L86 - Black

The Performance Design Carbon pTR Intake Manifold combines a glass-reinforced nylon lower manifold with a carbon fiber upper shell for a lightweight, strong, and heat-resistant tunnel ram architecture. Modular velocity stacks provide 6.5", 8.0", and 9.0" runner configurations along with multiple accessory port and sensor options for Gen 5 hot rod setups.

The manifold ships with the longer runner configuration, while optional velocity stacks provide different runner lengths. Shorter runners support high-RPM drag applications, while longer runners improve mid-range torque. Mixing runner lengths can also help smooth out the torque curve.

The plenum is constructed from high-strength carbon fiber with high-temperature epoxy for an improved strength-to-weight ratio and reduced heat soak to the fresh air charge. The polymer lower runner pack resists heat soak from the cylinder heads and houses ports and sensors hidden in the valley. The combination provides a 10 lb weight savings over competitive aluminum tunnel ram manifolds.
