SMG LT2 Intake Manifold

Overview

The SMG LT2 Intake Manifold has become one of the most popular upgrades for Gen 5 LT-powered vehicles thanks to its excellent airflow potential, factory-style appearance, and proven performance gains. Based on the intake manifold found on the 2020+ C8 Corvette, the LT2 intake offers improved airflow over factory LT1, LT4, and truck intake manifolds while maintaining excellent drivability and OEM-like fitment.

SMG offers the LT2 intake in multiple configurations ranging from a stock, unmodified manifold to fully ported packages complete with a 95mm ZR1 throttle body and billet adapter. Whether you're looking for a budget-friendly upgrade or a fully optimized intake solution, there is an LT2 package available to match your goals.

Important: These intake packages are designed around the factory LT1-style high-pressure fuel pump configuration and are not compatible with LT4 high-pressure fuel pumps due to clearance limitations.

Available Options

Stock LT2 Intake

Factory LT2 intake manifold exactly as supplied on the C8 Corvette with no modifications performed. This option is intended for customers who prefer to perform all fitment modifications themselves for their specific LT-powered application.

Stage 1 LT2 Intake

Includes basic snout and runner cleanup to remove factory casting flash along with the modifications required to fit Camaro and LT-powered truck applications. The intake is modified to clear the factory high-pressure fuel pump and includes the components needed for installation on non-Corvette LT platforms.

Stage 3 LT2 Intake

The ultimate LT2 intake package. Includes all Stage 2 modifications along with SMG's full porting service, a brand-new GM ZR1 95mm throttle body, and a billet adapter that allows direct installation without drilling or modifying mounting holes.

Important Notes

Not compatible with LT4 high-pressure fuel pumps.
Stage 2 and Stage 3 porting removes the factory throttle body O-ring sealing surface.
RTV sealant is required to create a proper seal between the intake manifold and throttle body adapter.
RTV sealant is sold separately.
For best results, apply RTV sealant to both the intake manifold sealing surface and adapter gasket surface before assembly.
Stage 3 includes two gaskets for use between the throttle body adapter and intake manifold.

Lead Time Information

Due to the popularity of SMG LT2 intake packages, please allow approximately 15-21 business days for processing and completion depending on the selected porting level, current order volume, and component availability.

Stage 3 Orders: Stage 3 packages typically ship in two separate boxes. The first shipment generally includes the throttle body, adapter, harness, and related hardware. The second shipment contains the completed ported intake manifold and may arrive approximately one week later depending on production scheduling and current order volume.
