USES A GEN III BLOCK

The Texas Speed & Performance 370 C.I.D. LQ9 Long-Block is built on a brand-new GM LQ9 6.0L iron Gen III block with a factory 3.622" stroke crankshaft and your choice of 24X or 58X reluctor. This long-block is a complete, ready-to-run foundation for serious street or strip builds.

Key Features:

• New GM LQ9 Gen III iron block
• Standard 4.03" bore piston sets (Wiseco, CP, or Diamond)
• Factory GM 3.622" stroke crankshaft
• Oil and coolant plugs pre-installed

Long-Block Includes (Installed):

• PRC 225cc cathedral-port heads with TSP dual valve spring kit
• Your choice of TSP camshaft
• LS2-specific timing set
• Johnson 2110R lifters + chromoly pushrods
• GM MLS head gaskets + cylinder head bolts
• GM high-performance oil pump
• Complete gaskets, seals, dowel pins, lifter trays, and hardware package

Important Notes:

• Optional upgrade to 1/2" ARP head studs available for high boost or nitrous setups
• Gen III blocks use LS1/LS6-style covers/components but require LS2/LS3 head bolts
• Custom crankshaft and rod upgrades available (Callies, Lunati, Oliver)

All TSP engines include 12 quarts of break-in oil at no additional cost. For best results and protection on first startup, we recommend using an engine priming pre-lube tank.

Note: Wiseco pistons support LS1/LS2/LS6/L92/LS3 and most aftermarket heads, CP supports LS1/LS2/LS6/L92/LS3, and Diamond pistons are intended for LS1/LS2/LS6 applications. Contact Texas Speed for an itemized quote.
