The Texas Speed & Performance 370 C.I.D. LQ9 Short-Block is built using a brand-new GM LQ9 6.0L iron Gen III block and comes fully assembled with a factory 3.622" stroke crankshaft and your choice of 24X or 58X reluctor. This is a strong foundation for performance street or boosted Gen III builds.

  • Standard 4.03" bore piston sets (unless noted)
  • Piston options from Wiseco, CP, or Diamond
  • Oil and coolant plugs pre-installed

Important Notes:

  • Optional upgrade to 1/2" head studs available for high boost or nitrous setups
  • Gen III block uses LS1/LS6-style covers/components but requires LS2/LS3 head bolts
  • Custom rotating assembly options available

All TSP engines include 12 quarts of break-in oil at no additional cost for proper startup protection and ring seal.

Note: Wiseco and CP pistons support LS1/LS2/LS6/L92/LS3 and most aftermarket heads, while Diamond pistons are intended for LS1/LS2/LS6 applications. Contact Texas Speed for an itemized quote.
