The Texas Speed & Performance 408 C.I.D. LQ9 Long-Block is built on a brand-new GM LQ9 6.0L iron Gen III block with a 4.00" stroke crankshaft and your choice of 24X or 58X reluctor. Featuring forged internals and a complete top-end package, this long-block is ready for serious street or strip performance.

Key Features:

  • New GM LQ9 Gen III iron block
  • Standard 4.03" bore 2618 forged pistons (Wiseco, CP, Diamond, or Mahle)
  • PRC 225cc cathedral-port heads with TSP dual valve spring kit
  • Your choice of TSP camshaft
  • Johnson 2110R lifters + chromemoly pushrods
  • GM MLS head gaskets, head bolts, and high-performance oil pump

Includes Complete Hardware Package:

  • LS2-specific timing set
  • Lifter trays, retainer plate, seals, gaskets, balancer bolt, dowel pins, and more

Important Notes:

  • Optional upgrade to 1/2" ARP head studs available (PRC heads required)
  • Gen III blocks use LS1/LS6-style covers/components but require LS2/LS3 head bolts
  • Turn-key engine packages and custom upgrades available

All TSP engines include 12 quarts of break-in oil at no additional cost for proper startup protection and ring seal.
