The Texas Speed & Performance “Sledgehammer” 408ci / 6.6L Short Block is designed for customers who want a proven, high-horsepower foundation without stepping into a full custom build. Based on the legendary 6.0L iron LS platform, this combination delivers the strength, durability, and consistency needed for serious street and race applications.

Every Sledgehammer short block is balanced, blueprinted, and assembled in-house by our engine builders using the same machining processes as our full custom engine program. Whether you're planning a naturally aspirated build or pushing big boost, this short block is ready to take it.

• Engine Platform: Gen 3 (24x Reluctor) or Gen 4 (58x Reluctor)
• Connecting Rods:
  • H-Beam Rods – Rated for up to ~1,000 HP
  • I-Beam Rods – Upgraded option rated for up to ~1,200 HP

  • -3.1cc Dish
  • -11cc Dish
