All Texas Speed & Performance resleeved short-blocks use a NEW resleeved Gen 4 aluminum block with Darton dry sleeves. The standard price includes a fully-assembled short-block with a 4.00" stroke crankshaft with your choice of 24x or 58x reluctor wheel.

All resleeved blocks are fully machined and assembled at our facility using state-of-the-art Darton dry sleeves that offer significantly higher tensile strength and thicker construction than factory GM sleeves. We do not recommend running larger than a 4.125" bore size if you are using any type of power-adder.

Piston Options

The standard price includes your choice of Wiseco, Diamond Racing, or Mahle 2618 forged pistons in 4.005", 4.01", 4.03", 4.07", 4.08", 4.125", 4.155", and 4.185" bore sizes. All feature lowered ring lands for nitrous and boost applications.

We stock Wiseco 4.125" -4cc and 4.125" -20cc piston sets for quicker turnaround. All other piston combinations require a 3–4 week build time due to compression height changes required for the sleeved block’s lower deck height.

The 4.00" stroke is the maximum stroke we recommend for power-adder combinations. 4.10" and 4.125" stroke options are available for naturally aspirated applications.

  • Optional LS1 conversion package (LS2 timing cover, valley cover, lifter trays, 1x timing set, harness extensions)

Break-In Protection

Every TSP engine includes 12 quarts of break-in oil at no additional cost. Proper break-in is critical for ring seal and engine longevity. We recommend Driven Racing HR2 conventional oil after break-in.
