The Texas Speed & Performance 454 C.I.D. LSx Short-Block is built using a brand-new GM Performance Parts LSx iron block and comes fully assembled for serious high-performance applications. Each short-block features a 4.125" stroke crankshaft with your choice of 24X or 58X reluctor.
Key Features:
- New GM LSx iron block for maximum strength
- Wiseco 4.185" -2.8cc pistons (standard)
- 4.185" bore unless otherwise noted
- Compatible with LS1, LS2, LS3, L92, LS6, and most aftermarket heads
- Oil and coolant plugs installed from the factory
Available Options:
- Optional LS1 conversion package for LS1 vehicle swaps
- Upgrade to 1/2" ARP head studs (includes machining)
- Dry-sump crankshaft option for 2006+ Corvette Z06 / GS / ZR1 installs
Important Notes:
- Lead Time: Add 6–8 weeks to all LSX/Dart-based builds due to block availability
- Not recommended for extreme boost or large nitrous use (limit nitrous to ~150 HP shot)
- Includes 12 quarts of break-in oil at no extra cost
