The TSP CHOPacabra Truck Cam is designed for cathedral-port LS truck combinations looking for an aggressive idle without requiring an aftermarket stall converter. Developed to work with GM LS6 beehive valve springs and a factory torque converter, the CHOPacabra provides a strong combination of street drivability, low-RPM response, and a pronounced camshaft chop.

• Best Suited Engines: 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, and 6.0L engines equipped with cathedral-port cylinder heads
• Recommended Compression Ratio: 9.5:1+
• Recommended Valve Springs: GM LS6 Beehive Valve Springs
• Aftermarket Stall Converter Required: No - Factory converter friendly
• Upgraded Rear Gear Required: No
• Operating RPM Range: 1200-6500 RPM
• Drivability: Street-friendly drivability with an aggressive chop

DYNO PERFORMANCE

Dyno Test Motor: Stock Gen IV 5.3L, stock 862 cylinder heads with GM LS6 valve springs, and a TBSS intake manifold.
