Overview

The Texas Speed & Performance 4.3L LV3 DOD Delete Kit provides everything needed to eliminate the factory Displacement on Demand (DOD/AFM) system from your 2014-2021 GM truck equipped with the 4.3L EcoTec3 V6 engine. Whether you're repairing a failed DOD lifter or upgrading for long-term reliability, this kit combines proven valvetrain components with the major gaskets and hardware required for a complete DOD delete.

At the heart of the kit is an OEM-style non-DOD camshaft paired with LS7-style hydraulic roller lifters and new lifter trays. By replacing the factory DOD lifters and camshaft with conventional components, the engine benefits from improved durability and eliminates one of the most common failure points found in the EcoTec3 platform.

To simplify installation, this kit includes the major gaskets, seals, and hardware commonly replaced during a DOD delete. Head gaskets, head bolts, water pump gaskets, a front crankshaft seal, balancer bolt, and DOD block-off plugs are all included to help eliminate the guesswork when sourcing parts for the job.

A custom calibration is required after installation to properly disable DOD functionality within the ECM.
