The Texas Speed & Performance Gen 5 DOD Delete Kit is designed to eliminate the Displacement on Demand (DOD) or Active Fuel Management (AFM) system from your Gen 5 6.2L LT1, LT4, L86, L87, and 5.3L L83, L84 engines. This modification is essential when upgrading to a non-DOD camshaft and is the perfect complement to our cylinder heads & camshaft packages.

  • 8 DOD Plugs: Blocks off the DOD stacks for effective deactivation (Optional Katech Valley Covers available as an upgrade).
  • GM Gen 5 Head Bolt Kit: Includes head bolts, with ARP bolts or ARP studs available as an upgrade.
  • Four LS2/LS3/LS7 Lifter Trays: Ensures proper lifter alignment and smooth operation.
  • Water Pump Gaskets & Front Crank Seal: Provides essential gaskets for the engine rebuild.
  • GM Gen 5 Head Gaskets: Choice of head gaskets to suit your engine setup.
  • Optional Components: Optional upgrades include GM VVT Camshaft Bolt, Balancer Bolt, and Valley Cover Gasket.

Important Notes:

  • Tuning is Required: A custom tune is necessary after installation to ensure proper engine performance.

A non-DOD camshaft is required to complete this upgrade. Pushrod length should always be measured once new valvetrain components are installed to ensure proper fitment. If unsure, please contact us for assistance with estimating the required pushrod length.
