4L65E Performance Transmission Includes:
- All new frictions/steels throughout with 7 clutch GPZ® 3-4 stackup designed to withstand extreme stress and temperatures.
- Complete overhaul kit (seals, gaskets, rings).
- New heavy-duty front and rear sprags.
- New 5 pinion front and rear planetary gearsets.
- Input drum reinforcement kit, to prevent breakage, that includes a new billet overrun apply piston.
- New wide red 2-4 band paired with brand new reverse input drum.
- Complete bushing kit with wide rear sun gear bushing.
- Redesigned heavy-duty Sunshell that redistributes load off roller bearings.
- Heavy-duty 3rd shift valve that extends life of forward sprag and clutches.
- New electronics throughout including wiring harness.
- New filter.
- Rebuilt front pump with new rotor, vane, and slide kit, .500 boost valve, and new pressure regulator valve that increases pressure for firmer shifts. Also includes “High-Rev” unbreakable vane rings, able to withstand up to 9000 RPM.
- Includes redesigned 3-4 clutch piston return springs that reduce centrifugal 3-4 apply and failure in 1st gear at 5500 RPM or higher.
- Rebuilt valve body with heavy-duty shift kit installed:
- Allows full gear lever-controlled downshifts from 3rd through 1st.
- Allows manual 1st or 2nd gear to be held at any speed or RPM.
- Corvette Servo upgrade, along with billet 4th apply piston and cover.
- Packaged in a plain, double-wall box, with reinforcements added to protect the transmission.
