UPR Products Rear Coil Over Shock Mount Kit 8.8" Universal Weld In
UPR PRODUCTSUPR Products Rear Coil Over Shock Mount Kit 8.8" Universal Weld In
This complete UPR Products Rear Coil Over Shock Mount Kit is designed for racers building a custom rear suspension setup using coil over shocks on a Mustang 8.8-inch rear axle. The kit provides a strong, lightweight solution while allowing the rear shocks to be moved inward for maximum tire clearance.
The system features a lightweight 36-inch long, 1 5/8-inch chrome moly mounting tube along with zinc-plated lower shock mounts. UPR uses larger 1/2-inch Grade 8 shock bracket hardware compared to the standard 3/8-inch hardware commonly found in other kits, providing a strong and durable mounting solution for performance applications.
The axle mounting brackets are laser cut specifically for the 2.88-inch diameter Mustang 8.8 rear axle. For Explorer 8.8 or Ford 9-inch rear axles with a 3-inch axle tube diameter, see UPR part number 2006-27 or 2006-124.
Typical installation time is approximately 3-6 hours. This is a universal weld-in kit and requires fabrication and welding for installation.
