UPR Products 2014-2018 Chevrolet GMC 5.3L Dual Valve Catch Can

Get the ultimate oil separator for your 2014-2018 GM GMC Chevrolet Silverado 5.3L truck with the UPR Pro Series Dual Valve Plug N Play™ Catch Can. Available with or without the UPR Clean Side Separator (CSS), this system is designed to provide effective crankcase evacuation throughout a wide range of driving conditions.

The Dual Valve catch can circulates crankcase vapors during low-speed driving and idle when higher manifold vacuum is present while also maintaining crankcase evacuation during Wide Open Throttle conditions when manifold vacuum decreases. UPR adds a dedicated Wide Open Throttle hose so that when towing uphill, hauling heavy loads, or driving under heavy throttle, airflow through the intake tube continues to pull air through the catch can system.

UPR's Pro Series system combines a large 12-ounce capacity with a compact design to help eliminate oil vapor on naturally aspirated and power-adder-equipped vehicles. Manufactured from domestic T-6 6061 aluminum bar stock and finished using precision diamond cutters, the system delivers excellent strength, performance, fit, and appearance.

UPR Clean Side Separator (CSS)

Available on kits selected with the Clean Side Separator. The CSS is especially beneficial for modified vehicles equipped with superchargers or turbochargers. As crankcase pressure increases under boost, oil vapor can be forced through the driver-side valve cover fitting. The Clean Side Separator allows clean air to enter the crankcase as the factory intended while capturing oil and impurities when crankcase pressure is high, helping prevent contamination from reaching the cold air intake and throttle body. Once normal driving resumes, the separator allows the oil mist to return to the crankcase.

Installs in approximately 30-45 minutes. This UPR Pro Series catch can kit is shipped ready to install even if no upgrades are selected, with optional upgrades available to tailor the system to your specific application.
