UPR Plug N Play™ Driver Side Clean Side Catch Can System

The UPR Clean Side Catch Can is designed to provide ultimate protection for your engine by capturing oil mist from crankcase vapors before it can enter the intake system. In performance and boosted applications, crankcase pressure can force oil vapor through the CCV system and into the intake tract—this system is designed to prevent that from happening.

Installing a clean side catch can helps maintain proper PCV system function while preventing oil contamination from reaching your intake, intercooler, and combustion process. This results in improved long-term engine cleanliness and consistent performance.

How It Works

Automotive PCV systems operate with both a “dirty side” and a “clean side.” The dirty side uses intake manifold vacuum to remove moisture, fumes, and contaminants from the crankcase. As this occurs, fresh filtered air is drawn in through the crankcase vent (clean side), which is connected to the intake system.

Under load or boost, oil mist can be pushed through this clean side system and into the intake. The UPR Clean Side Catch Can traps this oil vapor while still allowing proper airflow—keeping your intake system clean and functioning as intended.
