UPR 1978-1988 G-Body / 1964-1972 A-Body Rear End Billet Spherical Bushings

Upgrade your rear suspension with the UPR Billet Spherical Rear End Bushing Kit for 1978-1988 GM G-Body and 1964-1972 GM A-Body vehicles. Designed to replace the factory rubber differential housing bushings, this kit allows the rear suspension and upper control arms to articulate more freely, reducing deflection while improving traction, suspension response, and overall drivetrain stability.

Each bushing is CNC machined from premium 7075 billet aluminum and utilizes a high-quality Teflon-lined spherical COM bearing for exceptional durability and smooth operation. The kit includes Grade 10.9 mounting hardware and is designed to press directly into the factory rear axle housing. For high-horsepower applications, UPR also offers an optional Extreme Series hardware upgrade featuring stainless steel sleeves and larger 1/2-inch Grade 8 hardware. Proudly manufactured in the USA, installation can typically be completed in approximately 1.5 hours.

Notes

Designed to press directly into the factory rear axle housing.
For easier installation, place the bushings in a freezer the night before installation.
Optional Extreme Series hardware upgrade is available for high-horsepower applications and requires drilling the factory upper control arm mounting holes to 1/2 inch.
Extreme Series upgrade includes stainless steel sleeves and Grade 8 hardware.
