The Whipple W235RF Gen 6 3.8L Supercharger Swap Kit is designed specifically for enthusiasts currently running a Whipple Gen 5 3.0L system who want to upgrade to Whipple's latest and most powerful Gen 6 3.8L twin-screw supercharger. Engineered for 2011-2021 Mustang GT, Boss 302, and Shelby GT350 applications, this upgrade provides increased airflow, improved efficiency, and substantially greater power potential while utilizing much of your existing Whipple system.

The Gen 6 W235RF features an all-new supercharger design with redesigned bearings, gears, rotors, and housing that allow higher operating speeds, improved durability, and greater efficiency than previous generations. Testing has shown approximately a 6% increase in isentropic efficiency compared to the previous 3.0L unit, making it an ideal upgrade for high-horsepower street and race builds.

Important Notes

This is a swap kit intended for vehicles already equipped with a compatible Whipple Gen 5 3.0L supercharger system.
For applications exceeding 18 PSI of boost, Whipple recommends upgrading to a 10-rib belt drive system.
Cobra Jet intercooler upgrades require an aftermarket hood due to clearance limitations with the factory hood.
Additional intercooler hose routing, hoses, and fittings are required depending on the application.
Tuning and supporting fuel system modifications may be required depending on the intended power level.
