The IC Chiller Intercooler Chiller System for the RAM TRX is designed to dramatically reduce intake air temperatures by utilizing the vehicle’s factory air conditioning system to further cool the intercooler coolant. Lower intake temperatures help reduce heat soak, improve consistency, and maximize performance during both street driving and drag racing applications.

This newly updated TRX system features a redesigned installation setup that does not require cutting factory A/C lines. The included adapters install directly between the factory A/C connections, making this one of the cleanest and easiest-to-install IC Chiller systems available for the platform.

Operating Modes

The IC Chiller system uses a solenoid valve on the refrigerant liquid line to provide two selectable operating modes:

Chiller + Cabin Mode – Allows the cabin air conditioning and intercooler chiller system to operate simultaneously.
Drag Mode – Activated via rocker switch to divert refrigerant away from the cabin evaporator and prioritize maximum cooling directly to the intercooler system.

How It Works

The IC Chiller system uses the vehicle’s air conditioning refrigerant to remove additional heat from the intercooler coolant before it cycles back through the supercharger intercooler bricks. Cooler intercooler fluid temperatures help lower the temperature of the compressed intake charge entering the engine, increasing air density and improving overall performance consistency.
