Wilwood 55-57 Chevy Disc/Drum Forged Dynapro Low-Profile Rear Parking Brake Kit

Upgrade the rear braking system of your classic Chevrolet with the Wilwood Forged Dynapro Low-Profile Rear Parking Brake Kit. Designed for 1955-1957 Chevrolet rear axle applications, this Pro-Series rear disc brake conversion combines powerful four-piston braking with a neatly integrated internal shoe-style parking brake system.

The kit uses Forged Dynapro Low-Profile four-piston calipers paired with 11.00-inch one-piece rotor assemblies and Wilwood BP-10 high-friction brake pads. Its low-profile design provides additional wheel clearance, making the system suitable for many applications using smaller 14-inch and 15-inch wheels where larger performance brake systems may not fit.

An internal drum-style parking brake is incorporated into the rear rotor assembly, providing strong static holding power while keeping the parking brake mechanism neatly concealed. The result is a clean installation suited for classic muscle cars, street machines, street/strip builds, and show vehicles.

The kit is designed around the 1955-1957 Chevrolet / 1956 Corvette-style rear axle flange with a 2.34-inch axle offset. Axle flange and offset measurements must be verified before ordering.

Fitment & Installation Notes:

Designed for rear axle applications using the 55-57 Chevy / 56 Corvette housing flange.
Required axle offset is 2.34".
Verify the axle housing flange and axle offset before ordering.
The low-profile brake package may fit certain 14" wheels, but wheel clearance must be verified using Wilwood's wheel clearance diagram.
Designed specifically to provide additional clearance for applications using smaller 14" to 15" wheels.
An internal shoe-style parking brake provides mechanical parking brake functionality.
