Wilwood Select Beginning 1978 GM Cars & Trucks D154 Front Caliper Kit

Upgrade the factory front brakes on select GM cars and trucks with the Wilwood D154 Front Caliper Kit. Designed as a direct bolt-on, lightweight, high-strength replacement for the original cast-iron GM "Metric" D154 calipers, this kit provides improved durability, reduced unsprung weight, and high-temperature reliability for both street and performance applications.

The forged billet aluminum D154 calipers mount in the factory caliper location over the stock 1.04-inch-thick rotors, allowing the original braking configuration to be retained without converting to an oversized rotor system. The 2.50-inch stainless steel piston provides 4.90 square inches of piston area per caliper to help maintain the factory front-to-rear brake bias and compatibility with the OE master cylinder.

Wilwood's D154 design replaces the heavy OE cast-iron calipers with forged aluminum bodies, stainless steel pistons, and competition-style high-temperature seals. The kit also includes hardened slide pins and Wilwood BP-10 high-friction brake pads for dependable braking performance.

Rotors are NOT included with this kit.
Uses original-style OE D154 brake pads; Wilwood BP-10 pads are supplied with the kit.
Uses an OE-style M10-1.5 banjo bolt brake line connection.
Most wheels that clear the original D154 calipers should also clear the Wilwood D154 calipers.
A vehicle-specific Wilwood brake line kit is required and sold separately.
