Reduce rear suspension deflection and improve handling in your 2015-2023 Ford Mustang S550 with the UPR Rear Lower Control Arm Spherical Bearing Kit. Designed to replace the factory rubber lower control arm bushings, these spherical bearings help eliminate unwanted bushing bind and allow the suspension to move more freely under acceleration and cornering.

The factory rubber bushings can bind as the rear suspension compresses, potentially causing unwanted toe changes that can negatively affect traction and handling. Replacing the rubber bushings with spherical bearings reduces this deflection and allows more precise suspension movement, helping reduce wheel hop, improve handling, and provide more consistent launches.

Each bearing housing is CNC machined from high-strength 7075 Billet Aluminum rather than the more commonly used 6061 aluminum. With a tensile strength of approximately 83,000 psi compared to approximately 45,000 psi for 6061, the 7075 material provides significantly greater strength for this critical suspension component.

The housings feature a machined flange on one side to provide a positive stop during installation and a snap ring on the opposite side to securely retain the assembly. Large 1" Teflon-lined Chrome Moly spherical bearings provide smooth, precise articulation while minimizing suspension bind.

The pair weighs approximately 2 lbs 11 oz, making the kit approximately 1 lb 6 oz lighter than a comparable steel bushing setup.

Installs in approximately 2-3 hours. A press is highly recommended for removal and installation of the bearings.
