Upgrade your Fox Body Mustang's front suspension and make room for a Modular 4.6L, 5.4L, or Coyote 5.0L engine swap with the UPR Chrome Moly K-Member Kit. Designed for 1979-1993 Mustangs, this lightweight tubular suspension package provides increased header and oil pan clearance while reducing front-end weight.

Constructed from 4130 seamless chrome moly tubing, the UPR K-member and tubular A-arms are engineered for demanding drag race, road race, and high-performance street applications. The complete package saves approximately 70 lbs compared to the factory K-member and A-arms without altering the factory wheelbase.

This kit is designed to accommodate 4.6L and 5.4L Modular engines in a Fox Body Mustang and can also be used for a Coyote 5.0L swap when paired with 1996-2004 4.6L urethane motor mounts. The included tubular A-arms feature provisions for retaining a front sway bar.

The K-member features 1/4" thick motor mount pads and is precision TIG welded in billet fixtures for consistent fitment and strength. A silver powder-coated finish provides a clean appearance and added protection.

Installation typically takes approximately 3-6 hours. When using aftermarket motor mounts, the locating tab may need to be trimmed. Factory hardware must be reused where applicable.
