Upgrade your Pro Series rear suspension for extreme drag racing applications with the UPR Extreme Duty Hardware Kit for 1979-1998 Ford Mustangs. Designed for the severe loads created by hard-launching 8-second and faster cars, this complete hardware package replaces factory-style mounting hardware and control arm heim joints with heavy-duty components engineered for maximum strength and reduced suspension deflection.

The kit uses 1/2" Grade 8 hardware throughout to provide additional strength in applications where factory hardware can bend or fail. UPR's three-piece Tooled Steel Bushings feature a 3/4" outside diameter and create a near-solid connection to the chassis, helping eliminate unwanted flex under extreme acceleration loads.

Four heavy-duty Chrome Moly Teflon-lined heim joints replace the existing heim joints in UPR Pro Series Upper and Lower Control Arms. Each heim joint features a 28,000 lb radial static load capacity to withstand the forces generated by high-horsepower drag racing combinations.

With 38 pieces in total, the package includes the heim joints, bushings, bolts, and nuts required to perform a complete Pro Series control arm hardware upgrade.

Installs in approximately 1 hour or less.
